这本书我买了一直没读。没想到Madam最近去世了。她是首位美国女性国务卿，也是最懂极权国家的重要政治人物。她的人生分为两段，第一段是传统中产女性的生活，以离婚告终。第二段就是事业女性的生活。非常值得女性借鉴。终于读完了，有点枯燥，Madam一路走来，非常不易。她的行文清晰而客观，她本人应该更幽默有趣些。难能可贵的是她的坚韧与谦逊。

科贝尔女士的传奇经历，从颠沛流离的移民到雾谷首长，个人的努力十分重要，她确实很努力，超越想象的努力，在努力中接受挑战，锻炼自己，时代的变化让她有发挥才华之地。和米卿相比，她的意识形态更浓一些，在洒脱方面有些不足。
